Toolbox Design builds software and knowledge for audiovisual production. Born inside post-production and visual effects, it makes tools for the problems studios face every day: moving and verifying media, organising projects, tracking the status of every shot and documenting how the work gets done.
For artists and technicians, its apps turn repetitive tasks into workflows that run on their own. For studios, they provide common ground: the state of production in one place, repeatable processes and teams working from the same information. AI sits at the heart of every product as an agent that proposes and acts; the decisions stay with people.
Its catalogue includes MacToolSuite, which designs and runs task workflows on one or many Macs; Shot Tracker, the status of every shot in a single shared base; and Amanuense, for writing books and articles with AI agents. Agents Factory, Project Builder, Sprintle and LoreDock follow, covering the full cycle: agents, projects, tracking and documentation. Toolbox Design also publishes books, guides, articles and an AI model ranking for anyone who wants to understand and improve the way they work.
Founded by Henry Ramírez Reyes and Jorge M. Quevedo, Toolbox Design works between Paris and Nashville.
