You get a perpetual licence to use ToolSuite on the number of Macs your plan allows or, for a business, a per-seat subscription. Some tools can erase disks or files; they warn you, but you are responsible for what you confirm. Keep backups.
1. Licence
ToolSuite is licensed, not sold. Upon purchase you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence, perpetual or, for business licences, for as long as the subscription lasts, to install and use the Software on up to the number of Macs stated in your plan, for personal or business use. Free tools may be used without a licence. A 14-day trial of premium tools is granted to evaluate the Software.
2. Restrictions
You may not resell, sublicense or share licence keys, or circumvent the activation mechanism. You may not reverse-engineer the Software except where the law allows it.
3. Updates
Updates within the same major version are included. Major upgrades may require a new purchase; we will say so clearly.
4. Destructive operations and your data
Several tools — Secure Shredder, Partition Manager, RAID Manager, Bootable USB Creator, Forensic Clone, Data Carving, Storage Cleaner, Privacy Cleaner, Folder Sync — can delete, overwrite or erase data.
The Software describes what each tool touches and requires explicit confirmation for destructive actions. You are responsible for maintaining backups and for the actions you confirm.
5. Warranty and liability
The Software is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any loss of data, profits or business, or for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of the Software. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the licence.
6. Refunds and termination
You may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase. A refunded licence is deactivated. We may terminate a licence obtained by fraud or used in breach of this agreement. Business licences are governed by clause 7.
7. Business licences
Team and Business licences are monthly or yearly per-seat subscriptions: each Mac using the licence takes one seat. They renew automatically at the end of each period until cancelled. A price change is announced in advance and applies from the next renewal.
The first Mac to activate the licence is its admin. Admins invite other Macs, give or remove that role and remove Macs from the licence; while Macs remain, there is always an admin. The business that subscribes is responsible for how the Macs on its licence use the Software.
The number of seats can be changed at any time, with immediate effect. With fewer seats than Macs, no Mac is removed, but no new Mac can join until a seat is free.
Business licences are not refundable. They can be cancelled at any time: the licence works until the end of the paid period and the unused part is not refunded. If a payment fails, the licence keeps working for seven days after the end of the period; it is then deactivated until the payment goes through.
A Business licence made by quote may carry its own written terms, which prevail over this clause where they differ.
8. Privacy
The Software sends no telemetry. What leaves your Mac is described in the privacy policy.
9. Governing law
This agreement is governed by the laws of France. Consumers in the EU keep the rights granted by their national law.
